The following is my report for Swedish Vallhunds that I judged on Sunday 1st September 2024 at Swedish Vallhund Breed Championship Show, held at Tomlinson’s Canine Centre Markfield.
My thanks to all the exhibitors who entered it was a privilege to be asked to judge the Championship Breed show.
I enjoyed my day giving Best In Show and Best Veteran to my Dog C.C. Miss Lynn Pallatina’s Starvon Dark Knight with Valltineya. The Bitch C.C. to Mr & Mrs S Warren’s CH Valhaller in Focus. Best Puppy to Mrs Jo Day ‘s Starvon Gives Me Goosebumps.
V D (3). 1st Miss Lynn Pallatina Starvon Dark Night at Valltineya.
Well balanced masculine head correct ears and eyes set. Alert and very attentive
expression. Excellent reach of neck onto well laid shoulders, with decent depth of chest and
well turned stifle. Firm compact body. Good overall bone structure moved well kept his topline.
A joy to look at and watch whilst on the move. Dog C.C. B.I.S. & B.V.I.S.
2nd Mesdames Perry & Etches Ch Starvon Cryptic Spyda.
Another good structural dog, with alert expression. Well balanced head, ears and eye set
correct. Facial & Harness markings good. Nice reach of neck and depth of chest. Moved well.
3rd. Mrs S Uitendaal Multi CH Noriniikes Balder De Bomb.
MPD (1) 1st Mr & Mrs Mcardle Starvon Get The Drinks In For Monascreebe
This smart young dog has a good wedge shaped head, alert expression well set ears and dark
eyes with correct face mask and harness markings. Moved well, nice depth of chest, good turn of
stifle and good bone quality. Should do well in the future.
PD (2) 1st Mr & Mrs Mcardle Starvon Get The Drinks In For Monascreebe
2nd Mr & Mrs E & R Smith & J Smith Stockbridge Ruanticx Spyro The Dragon With Valladar.
This very young dog had first show nerves getting the better of him but in time he will settle.
A good head, ears and eyes set. Chest depth still to come, good bone quality. Moved round
the ring well.
J D (1). 1st. Mr K M A Jones Valltineya Red Redemption
Lovely smart red dog showed well. Ears and eyes well set, balanced head used his ears
well paying attention to his owner, lovely alert expression happy disposition. Needs a bit more
depth of chest but still young so this he will develop. Good turn of stifle and bone quality.
Moved well keeping his topline throughout. One to watch for the future.
GD (2) 1st Miss S Linney Aescwine Bottom Dollar.
Well balanced head, his ears and eyes set correct. With alert expression used his ears well.
Good reach of neck into well laid back shoulders This dog’s depth of chest good, with a good
turn of stifle. Nice quality bone good structure. Covered the ground well moving keeping
his topline.
2nd Mrs E King Starvon Fit For A King At Forvana
Good head nice expression, eyes and ears set good. Mask and harness markings correct.
Movement in ring not as flowing as first dog.
PG (2) 1st Mrs L Richards & Mr I Chappell Starvon EE’z The One Of Palostras
Good masculine head ears and eyes set correct. A good reach of neck into well laid back
shoulders. Correct mask and harness markings. Has a decent length of leg and turn of
stifle. Nice alert expression. Needed to settle on the move which he did and looked good.
2nd Mrs E King Starvon Fit For A King At Forvana
LD (3) 1st Miss E Spry Westorps Wild Thing To Pepperthyme (Imp Swe)
Well balanced masculine wedge shaped head with alert, attentive expression. Correct ear set and used well,
mask and harness markings were good. Good reach of neck
into well laid shoulders, good depth of chest with nice turn of stifle. Once settled kept
topline when moving round the ring.
2nd Miss S Linney Cecil Vom Bruggener Land Mit Aescwine (Imo Deu)
A good balanced wedge shaped head with nice dark eyes and ears set correct. Decent
depth of chest and good turn of stifle. Good reach of neck into well laid back shoulders.
Facemask and harness markings correct. On the move he settled and kept his topline.
3rd Mrs E King Starvon Fit For A King At Forva
OD (4). 1st Mrs S Uitendaal Multi CH Noriniikes Iene Miene Mutte
A very alert smart little dog had a good proportioned wedge shaped head, with dark
eyes, used his well set ears giving him a very alert expression. Correct facial mask
and harness markings. Well structured proportion body with lovely reach of neck into good
shoulders, correct depth of chest with a good turn of stifle, kept his topline on the move.

With correct wedge shape head, good eyes and alert expression, placement of
ears correct and used well, correct mask and harness markings good. On the move
kept his topline.

VB (3) 1st Mrs S Uitendaal Multi CH Sharinjah Simasuu.
1 Absent Lovely to watch with excellent feminine wedge shaped head, correct ear set and dark eyes.
Good depth of chest. Mask and harness markings correct. With a lovely reach of neck, into
well laid back shoulders. Sound structure and with a good turn of stifle. She was alert and
attentive, moving well round the ring keeping her topline as she went. B.V.B
2nd Mrs J Day Starvon Binit Sinit Dunit With Kirkholme
This lovely bitch showed well. Excellent feminine wedge shaped head, with correct ear set
and dark eyes with alert expression. Correct mask and harness markings. Good reach of
neck into well placed shoulders, good depth of chest. Good structured body with a nice
turn of stifle. Moving round the ring she kept her topline throughout.
MPB (2)1st Mrs J Day Starvon Gives Me Goose Bumps
This young smart bitch had a lovely alert expression, with a good ratio feminine wedge
shaped head, dark eyes and well set ears. Face mask and harness markings correct. Great
reach of neck into well laid back shoulders. Good turn of stifle. Firm structure and a very good
bone quality. Good depth of chest. On moving covered the ground well with a very good gait
keeping her topline. Her name does what it says B.P.
2nd Miss R Antieul Ruanticx Final Fantasy
This young bitch will come on with time which she has, good eyes and ears set into nice
feminine wedge shaped head. Decent turn of stifle for age. Correct mask and harness
markings. Moved well.
PB(2) 1st Mrs J Day Starvon Gives Me Goose Bumps
Came back into the ring still going strong very nice bitch.
2nd Mrs J Price Pepperthyme Jeroboam
Another lovely young bitch with good wedge shaped feminine head, correct dark eyes
and ear set. Face mask and harness markings good. Good reach of neck into good
shoulders. On the move kept topline.
JB (4) 1st Miss Lynn Pallatina Valltineya Lasso Ur Dreams
Pretty red bitch good ratio wedge shaped head with an alert expression good dark eyes, correct
ear set. Good front and depth of chest with a good reach of neck into well balanced shoulders.
Has a good turn of stifle. Correct markings. Moved well keeping her topline as she went.
2nd Mrs Rorbach Valltineya Bella Starr
Alert attentive bitch feminine good wedge shaped head, dark eyes well set ears, face mask and
harness markings correct, good reach of neck into her laid back shoulders. Depth of chest and
turn of stifle good.
GB (6) 1st Mrs & Mr A & F Longhi & Francescato Valaller Paparazzi
Smart looking bitch was very alert and attentive. Had a good feminine wedge shaped head.
Well set ears and dark eyes. Correct reach of neck into well laid back shoulders.
Good depth of chest, markings correct. Firm structure and bone quality and the turn of
her stifles good. Moved well kept her topline.
2nd Mr & Ms J & R M Price Valltineya Galadriel
Nice feminine head, good ear and eye set. Markings correct. Lovely straight back good
turn of stifle. Was a bit fidigity but when settled showed well.
3rd Mrs & Miss A J & C E McGregor & Griffin Valltineya Believe In Me Over Chogoris

Attentive alert bitch with good feminine wedge shaped head. Good dark eyes and with ears l
set well. Correct face mask and harness markings. Good reach of neck into shoulders.
Moved well round the ring.
2nd Mrs E King Valltineya Charrita Queen At Forvana
Nice wedge shaped head, correct mask and harness markings. Good reach of neck.
Moved well.
LB (5) 1st Mrs & Mr A & F Longhi & Francescato Valaller Paparazzi
1 Abs. Already shown and placed kept her drive looked in control in the ring.
2nd Miss S Linney Aescwine Ampelography
Nice feminine wedge shaped head with dark expressive eyes, her ear set was correct and
she used them well. Has a good depth of chest and turn of stifle. Good reach of neck into well
placed shoulders. Markings correct. Moved well round ring kept her topline.
3rd Miss W Amon Pepperthyme Wild Fire
OB (4) 1st Mr & Mrs S Warren CH Valaller In Focus
This excellent bitch walked into the ring and owned it. A lovely smart looking bitch full of
energy, with alert watchful expression and dark expressive eyes. A lovely balanced feminine
wedge shaped head, well set ears which she used well. Nice dark eyes. Correct face mask and
harness markings. Lovely reach of neck into well placed shoulders and with excellent depth of
chest. Firm structure with quality bone and a good turn of stifle. Sound mover keeping her
topline. She was in excellent condition. B.C.C

Nice alert bitch correct wedge shaped head, dark eyes, good ear set and reach of neck into
well laid back shoulders. Good depth of chest and nice turn of stifle. Moved well round ring
kept her topline. Depth chest good with quality bone and good turn of stifle. Good feminine
wedged shaped head, nice dark eyes alert expression good ear set. A lovely reach of neck
